About Me

Nice to meet you! 🤩
I am a Seattle-based software engineer, currently working at Microsoft. I graduated from Duke University with a double major in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Computer Science with a minor in Economics.

Software

Through Duke's coursework, I learned many fundamentals about data structures, databases, theory, and software development. Outside the classroom, I've learned about agile development, new languages, and teamwork. Ask me more about my full-stack development work!

Hardware

I love building circuits, 3D printing, getting my hands dirty, and building prototypes. I'm currently interested in signals and systems, building bots with Arduinos, and exploring a Raspberry Pi I just got. Hit me up with any cool ideas!

Music

I started playing the violin in 6th grade through our public school program. Grateful for the scholarships to take private lessons then, I've studied solo and chamber music ever since, and I continue to do so at Duke!
Favorite ensemble: Mendelssohn octet in E flat, Favorite solo: Bruch Concerto in G Minor

Leadership

I served as class president on Duke's Engineering Student Government and Executive President for Duke's Premier Tech Society, Catalyst. These organizations have taught me so much about leadership and giving back and growing a community that supports and encourages you to grow outside of the classroom!

Breaking the Glass Ceiling

I'm very lucky to be involved with awesome organizations like Society of Women Engineers and Girls Engineering Change. They supported me and showed that I'm not alone. This year, I co-hosted a web-dev workshop for high school girls and organized a women's panel for my Duke peers. Going to the Grace Hopper Celebration this year opened my eyes to the future, and I'm excited to be a part of that.

Dogs

I love dogs! I've volunteered at the Duke Puppy Kindergarten for over a year now, and I love helping train service dogs.

Personal Projects

Before my Junior Fall, I never had a class that allowed me to build anything from the ground up. Since sophomore year, I've found a love for hackathons and working with incredible, inspiring teammates to build solutions from scratch, while learning new technologies on the way. Feel free to ask me about anything!
